京川菜 at Tunglok 老北京 @ Velocity Novena Square

This hot & sour soup is one of those better ones and the soup comes with a generous portion of seafood consisting of prawn, scallop and squid.

Their claypot with seasonal mushroom is an interesting dish which you can try. The gravy goes extremely well with a bowl of steaming white rice.

Shaoxing-style “Hua Diao” chicken. Chicken with fungus cooked in chinese wine.

Steam chicken fillet with mushrooms and black fugus. This is a must try dish as well. Chicken is tender and flavourful after soaking up the essence of the mushroom, red dates & wolfberries. A bowl of steaming white rice goes well with the gravy too.

A must try dish “biang biang noodle”. This is a local dish enjoyed by Beijing people.

Original Beef Noodle Soup. A local favourite too. They also offer tomato broth base too.

Stir fried Cabbage with Shrimp. Tgis is another one of my favourite dish especially when I am in China.

Mapo Beancurd. Cooked with peppercorn and black beans. Something unique.

Lao Beijing Pan-Fried “Guo Tie” – fried dumpling with pork and shrimp.

Their 小笼汤包 is also quite champion. Juicy and tasty.

Braised spinach beancurd with dried scallops is one of their highly recommended dish on their menu. Worth a go at it.

The Zhajiang noodle is pretty unique too and deserve some mention as well.

Seafood Fried Rice with X.O. Sauce – another champion dish for consideration. The X.O. sauce blends extremely well.

Another awesome dish would be their fried rice with shrimps and preserved vegetables in dried conpoy sauce. This is one of those must try dish.
