<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are more and more sushi joints that one can explore and find. I reckon that this is partly due to the pent up demand for <a href="https://suanmeizai.blog/2017/03/27/enjoying-japanese-cuisine/">Japanese cuisine</a> since travelling to Japan is now not easily viable in view of the current travel restriction. ð¤£</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One such joint, Chura Sushi Bar has made its appearance of late. I must agree that this restaurant focuses a fair bit on plating presentation which gives diners a great visual dining experience.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/IMG-20211010-WA0007-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-11174"/><figcaption><em><strong>Chura Ladies&#8217; Set</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Comprise of 6 pcs of Temari Sushi. You get to enjoy 6 different kinds of sushi balls &#8211; salmon, tuna, Japanese scallop, salmon roe, spear squid and amberjack served with a mini udon and 3 kinds of appetizer; salmon skin, truffle edaname and deep-fried camembert cheese dice. Ain&#8217;t the visual plating captivating?</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/20211010_181729-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-11175"/><figcaption><em><strong>Miyazaki Wagyu with Uni and Caviar</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The miyazaki wagyu, sea urchin and salt-cured roe just melts right down with each mouthful. This is certainly heavenly. ðð</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/20211110_134202-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-11245"/><figcaption><em><strong>Bara Chirashi</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Comes with akami, shiro maguro zuke, salmon, sushi ebi, tamago yaki, ikura, snow peas, Japanese cucumber, Japanese lily bulb, marinated lotus root, edible flower, sakura denbu. What a beautiful piece of colourful food art!</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/20211110_133923-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-11246"/><figcaption><em><strong>Truffle Unagi and Foie Gras Roll</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Unagi and foie gras sushi roll topped with crispy tempura bits and drizzled with balsamic truffle mayo. The sushi rolls are huge in size literally. ð</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are more eye-catching dishes which you can try them out too. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Needless to say, they do offer the usual suspects as you would have guessed correctly as follows.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/20211010_180914-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-11176"/><figcaption><em><strong>Kampuchi Sashimi</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fresh amberjack as it is expected and importantly, it is reasonably priced. ð</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/20211010_180732-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-11177"/><figcaption><em><strong>Agedashi Tofu</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Deep fried silken tofu served with grated radish, grated ginger and spring onion. This is one of those better ones that I have had. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/20211010_180656-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-11178"/><figcaption><em><strong>Ika Karaage </strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Deep-fried Japanese squid, served with lemon, mayonnaise and shichimi. Succulently delicious. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/20211110_132728-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-11247"/><figcaption><em><strong>Fried Chicken Wasabi</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Marinated fried chicken coated with special sauce and served with grated Hokkaido mountain horseradish. A different dish you would have expect from a karaage. It&#8217;s a love or hate type of dish in my opinion.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Definitely a place I would recommend for visual eye candy and for a quick sushi fix anytime&#8230;.</p>
