It has been a long while since I last had a good Turkish meal at Kervan when I was in Seoul back in 2018 and 2019.

I am glad to come across Sofra which serves high quality and authentic Turkish food. This is one place that you can consider should your next craving for Turkish food arises.
When I think of Turkish food, I will think of kebab at the first instance. Definitely it is a must to have to pay homage to this sacred item when at Sofra. 😅

Sefin Tavsiyesi meaning Chef’s Advice in Turkish comprising of a combination Plate of Yaprak Doner (lamb and chicken), grilled meatballs and a skewer of chicken shish kebab. Highly recommended for first time diner as you will be able to get a good sampler platter.

A minced lamb kebab mounted on a wide iron skewer and and grilled on an open mangal filled with burning charcoal. The lamb meat is grilled to perfection with a flavourful spice that infused with it.

Hearty and comforting lamb stew with mashed potato in melty cheese. This is cheesily delicious with the tenderness of the well spiced lamb meat.

Pronounced as pee-day. A boat-shaped Turkish flatbread with chicken fillings, a common snack in Turkey. Liken to Turkish pizza. ☺️

A popular dish of cube meats on a skewer and cook over an open fire. The beef cubes are surprisingly tender.

Consisting of ground meat grilled on a skewer, wrapped in lavash and topped generously with tomato sauce and served with yoghurt.

Also known as the Sultan’s delight. An old Turkish recipe going back a few hundred years to the ottoman empire. A contrast between tender lamb and smoky eggplant puree.

Manti stuff with chicken filling. Their Turkish pasta, similar to ravioli. Dumpling pasta.
Sofra do offer a good selection of desserts too. Well, Turkish desserts are known to be sweet and rich. Definitely not for the weak-hearted.

A sweet cheese pastry made from Kadayif noodles and unsalted melting cheese. Proclaiming as one of the best Turkish desserts ever! Uniquely interesting and something unusual. A must try item in my opinion.
I would surely look forward to try more of their menu items in time to come. Hope you will be equally excited to try them out too! 😉
