I first came across Collin’s when I was in Great World. Before this, I did not take notice of its existence. 😳

I was drawn in by the restaurant’s ambience as it seems (to me) to be a “atas” dining place from its first look.

Thereafter, it prompted me to take a look at their menu to view the items and the food pricing (of cos) and see if it will be worth a try. I told myself I would not mind giving this restaurant a try as there are always constant queue forming in almost all their islandwide outlets.

It reminds me of the early days “Jack’s Place” in Yen San Building back then. Those in my era will know what I mean. 😉 Collin’s is like the modern days “Jack’s Place” alike to give it a perspective comparison.

Collin’s specializes in Western cuisines at reasonable pricing ranging from Appetizer, Salad, Pasta, Seafood, Meat, 12″ Pizza to Dessert.

Button Mushroom, Truffle Oil, Fresh Cream and Garlic Crouton. The mushroom soup tastes great with the fragrance of the truffle oil and pairs extremely well with garlic bread.

Thick Tomato Soup, Onion, Celery, Carrot and Chifferi Pasta. I love their minestrone soup especially the aftertaste tomato-rish flavor that lingers within your mouth. Really refreshing as starter.

Toasted French Loaf with Homemade Garlic Butter. This is certainly one of the better garlic bread that I have had. Goes extremely well as soup dippers.

Onion Rings with Garlic Aioli. Crispily good but can be cloy-gy if taken in excess.

Generous amount of seafood items comprising of squid, prawn, white clam, mussel, salmon and scallop. Loved the cheesy feel with each mouthful. You may opt for baked rice too if needed.

Ravioli stuffed with Cheese, Medley of Mushrooms, Grated Parmesan and Cream Sauce. Cheesy lovers favourite.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Corn Cob, Mesclun Salad with Black Pepper Sauce. They uses Benja Chicken which is supposedly to be more tender & succulent as the chicken is raised without antibiotics and fed with quality diet of brown rice packed full of vitamins and antioxidants. Chicken chop lovers will enjoy it though I can’t really tell the difference as it tastes equally delicious to me. 🤣

Served with Seasonal Vegetables, Mushroom Potato Au Gratin, Pesto Cream Sauce amd Black Pepper Sauce. Though they have other more “high end” champion beef item ($$$$$) in their menu, to me, this Chef Recommendation item is good enough for the given price point. Remember to ask for the medium rare for the steak doneness!

Soft Shelled Prawn, Tempura Squid, Fried Haddock Fish, Cajun Fries, Corn Cob, Coleslaw, Mesclun Salad, Garlic Aioli and Cheese Sauce. This mixed combo is good for sharing as (best part of it) you can get to sample the various items at one go. 👍 The fried Haddock fish is really power. Loved the thick, firm and succulent fish meat. Awesomely good.

Succulent grilled selection featuring Chicken Chop, Summer Kabana Pork Sausage, Pork Chop served with Seasonal Vegetables, Mushroom Potato Au Gratin, Pesto Cream Sauce and Black Pepper Sauce. Another great sampler option for those who do not want fried food.

Grilled hearty selection featuring the Signature Grilled Chicken Chop, Summer Kabana Pork Sausage, Grilled Pork Chop, Tender Lamb Chop served with Seasonal Vegetables, Potato Au Gratin, Pesto Cream and Black Pepper Sauces. The main difference is the addition of the lamb chop. So if you are a lamb lover, this one is for you.

What better way to wash down the guilt other than a glass of refreshing Iced Earl Grey Tea with Lychee. You may also choose from a selection of flavors ranging from Peach, Lemon & Orange or Passion Fruit.

Sparkling soda with passion fruit, this will definitely perk you up after a heavy meal.

Collin’s is definitely one place where you can consider as it offers a great varieties of food option to suit your Western cravings without much restrictions. 😋
