<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Desserts are great to liven up one&#8217;s mood. The sweet adrenaline rush somehow creates wonder especially for me. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are many dessert stalls which you can easily find near where you are. Hence, we are always looking out and hunting down solid and power dessert stall so that we can go to when the need to sweeten the mood comes along.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210403_145703-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10776"/></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, I chanced upon ä»ä» tucked in a basement of Siglap Centre that serves up pretty darn good desserts. ä»ä» is a no frills humble-looking joint with not much of a fanfare that serves up quite an extensive range of sweets menu items that can certainly caters to what you need.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210403_1515086201062831526167635-768x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10777"/><figcaption><em><strong>Extensive menu range </strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210403_152310-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10778"/><figcaption><em><strong>Fresh Mango with Ice Cream and Gula</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The bowl was piled high with shaved ice topped with generous servings of mango cubes and gula melaka. When mixed with vanilla ice cream, it just blends extremely well and refreshing.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210424_1349502807354502197367475-768x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10835"/><figcaption><em><strong>Cendol</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Another sinfully dessert piled high with shaved ice with coconut milk and gula melaka. Their green jelly-like flour with pandan leave juice is really soft and tasty which differs from those other dessert stall that are usually hard and tasteless. Even the red bean is smooth in texture. ð</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210410_144531-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10799"/><figcaption><em><strong>Black Glutinous Rice with Ice Cream</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A cold dessert which differs from the hot version that we are used to. Pleasantly cooling and a great combination too. I remember I had my first encounter with this same exact version at Peach Garden Restaurant and instead of a bowl, it is served inside a coconut shell bowl.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210410_144825-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10800"/><figcaption><em><strong>Peach Gum</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Similar to cheng tng except that the ingredients served are longan, red dates and the jelly-like item known as peach gum that has a crunchy texture when chewed.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210403_151829-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10779"/><figcaption><em><strong>Orh Nee (Yam Paste)</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Their orh nee is smooth in texture and tastes exceptionally good with fresh coconut milk. Comes with ginko nut and pumpkin. Really power!</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210403_152004-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10780"/><figcaption><em><strong>Barley Beancurd</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A typical local homemade comfort dessert that brings you family warmth with each spoonful. Not overly sweet and tastes just right.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210424_135101-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10836"/><figcaption><em><strong>Tau Suan</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">An old school mung bean dessert that sweet-tooth lovers will enjoy coupled with the savoury dough stick a.k.a you tiao. Somehow, it just works wonder when the sweet and savoury meets.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Other than desserts, ä»ä» offers light snacks to go as well.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210410_145140-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10801"/><figcaption><em><strong>&#8220;Bowl&#8221; Zhang</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Instead of bak zhang (rice dumpling), they serve up &#8220;bowl&#8221; zhang as it is shaped like a bowl. Ingredients include mushroom and generous amount of pork. Pretty unique dish and tastes delicious.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210410_145124-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10802"/><figcaption><em><strong>Chee Cheong Fun with Chai Por</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is one dish that I like. The chai por simply goes extremely well with chee cheong fun. Definitely a champion combination. ð</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://suanmeizai.blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/20210424_134653-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-10837"/><figcaption><em><strong>Soon Kueh</strong></em></figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nothing great to shout out compared to other more deserving <a href="https://suanmeizai.blog/2021/01/01/one-kueh-at-a-time-230-pandan-loop/">soon kueh</a> that I have had. Nonetheless, it is still a nice snack to have when served steamingly hot. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you are searching for one solid dessert joint, look no further and head down to ä»ä» right away for your sweet fix. ð</p>
